This basement finish was part of a larger multi-generational home project, designed to give a young married couple a complete living space of their own as they started their family. The layout included two bedrooms, a flexible office or future bedroom, a full kitchen, a dedicated laundry area, and a bathroom with a large shower, soaking tub, and double vanity.

Every part of the space was tailored to the way this family lives. The kitchen was designed for an accomplished home baker, featuring custom-painted cabinetry, oak butcher block, café-style high-end appliances, and smart switches. White oak floating shelves and a dry bar added warmth and function, while a dedicated LEGO closet created a place for projects, storage, and everyday enjoyment. The owner’s bedroom brought another standout moment with a walk-in closet and patio doors overlooking the lake. The result is a highly custom lower-level home built with room to grow, gather, create, and settle in.
